“ I didn’t eat the food, only had dessert, and it was really good. The server was very nice and the vibe was calm and relaxed. I randomly stopped in while walking and really enjoyed it. I didn’t try the beignets, but the dessert I had was so good. I need to go back today ”
“ Our first time here for Sunday brunch and we were not disappointed. We started off with the beignets which were delicious. I had the Normandy French toast topped with cream cheese mousse and mixed berries. So good. The breakfast potatoes are very crispy which is the way I like them. Definitely will be coming back. ”
“ The food was very tasty. I ordered the Migas skillet, my wife the smoked salmon Benedict and a kids meal for our son. We didn’t have room to order dessert but the pastries looked delicious. We will definitely be back again. ”
“ Whether you're looking for a casual meal, cozy coffee & dessert, or a full dinner experience, Belle Vie seems to have it all! Our server was friendly & attentive, and seemed to appear just when we wished them to throughout the meal. I had originally planned to simply get a latte and a dessert, but after browsing the lunch menu I couldn't resist. The French Onion Soup was so comforting and just full of deep, complex umami flavor. Paired with the BLT, it was a great contrast of fresh against savory! The Normandy French Toast balanced its flavors beautifully. The Cream Cheese Mousse was velvety and added a creamy component to perfectly offset the sweet, yet tart berries. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch followed by beautifully crafted lattes and decadent desserts. I will absolutely be back to try more! If I had to voice one drawback, it would be the noise level from the many patrons. This is not the restaurant's fault, of course, but the space could greatly benefit from some sound absorbing decor, plants, or other items to reduce the ambient noise. ”
“ Loved the atmosphere. They have a painted mural of the eiffel tower on their wall, as well as booths and tables. There is a glass case full of pastries and desserts, also, of course, tall baguettes ! 6/10/25 - Tried their lamb chops, escargot and duck confit for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals, my favorite of the new entrees was the escargot which came with a delightful puff pastry to dip in the garlic butter. Yum! Other than that two of us loved the potatoes that came with the duck and lamb. 3/16/2025- tried their almond chocolate croissant today, and it was delightfully sweet, flaky and soft. Hurray! Nov 22nd- this was the 2nd time I tried their croissant with the belle vie breakfast. The eggs and potatoes were tasty, the hazelnut praline latte was the best. The croissant has a nice sweetness to it, unfortunately it was dry again. The first time it was their 1st day, so I was kind and patient, but today it had the same issue as the last. For those interested at home for a moist croissant choose high fat butter, prepare the dough keeping it as cold as possible, even proofing at a lower temp. Then cook at a lower temp for longer, so the butter doesn't leak out and the inside of the croissant is soft and pillowy. On Nov 12th I ordered the basic breakfast, with eggs cooked to order, bacon, homestyle potatoes and a croissant. I asked for my eggs scrambled hard, which usually for a French restaurant wouldn't be easy if they added extra cream to the eggs, but they did it just right. I enjoyed the potatoes and bacon as well. I also had 2 hazelnut praline lattes, mmm! They were nums and craveworthy, so much so that when I came back that was the only thing I repeated again. I ended the breakfast with a apple band, which had thinly sliced apples on a yellow custard and layered flakey crust. Ask them to warm it up if possible. Very good. I left happy. Nov 16th- I tried lunch this time and took pictures. I had the beef tenderloin sandwich with fries and a fruit tart. Of course I had the praline hazelnut latte too, which was just as good the 2nd time as the first. The beef tenderloin had soft bread and plenty of good meat, the BEST part of it was the fresh herbs. It has gruyere with is a rich, creamy white cheese without the sharpness of a Swiss. The fruit tart had plenty of fruit which made a pretty picture. The custard acts as a nice base to the fruit to tie it all together. They look large but I was able to totally finish it all no problem even after lunch. Plenty to try on their menus, they thankfully have plenty of waitresses to serve even the busier Saturday crowd which was good. “ Service: Our server was attentive, pleasant and willingly provided recommendations from the menu. It’s the little things with me sometimes and in this case, water was brought without asking and the manager stopped by to check in twice. Food: Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. The hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict was especially well made. The coffee was hot and very strong (as expected) Atmosphere: It was a great little brunch spot. Lively chatter that wasn’t overwhelming, a few kids here and there and an overall buzz that was a great wake up on a Sat morning. The location on the square is perfect, despite a shortage of parking (not their fault). ”
“ Had lunch here today and the service was top notch. They have the best chai latte. We all enjoyed our lunch and deserts. We will return to try something new. I really liked the dressing on the salad. ”
“ My wife and I had breakfast at Belle Vie Bistro this morning, and I would give it a solid 4.5 or higher, especially when compared to other places that serve breakfast. Our server, Hannah, was extremely attentive and responsive. The food came out of the kitchen amazingly fast, and was very good. I am a critic of Eggs Benedict, which I love to make at home, and theirs was very solid. I think their Hollandaise was made in-house, whereas many places use a mix. And they bothered to toast the English muffins, which so many places simply neglect (which is a crime.) I think using a more flavorful type of ham would be my only suggestion (Black Forest vs. Canadian Bacon). My wife's Crepe Parisien was huge and delicious. Their breakfast potatoes are very well seasoned so that the ketchup I usually want with them was not necessary. I'm not a big fan of the Segafredo coffee, but to each his own. The ambience is nice and clean, but could feel "cozier". They've added some softer lamps, but I feel like their recessed lights are a little cold and harsh. The music was on point for brunch. The place is EXTREMELY clean, which eclipses most breakfast places. Their pastries are magnificent. They have all your breakfast favorites, plus a lot of items you won't find everywhere, like the crepes and quiches. One of the best things about it is there is no line. You can walk right in and be seated at 10AM on a Sunday. So don't tell anyone. This is our secret. Belle Vie is a great place for breakfast. ”
